Re: Equação com Radical

Mensagempor Gebe » Sáb Jun 09, 2018 10:28

Basta expandir o termo {(2-\sqrt[]{7})}^{3}.
Fazendo isso (conferir!) a equação fica: {(50-19\sqrt[]{7})}=a-b\sqrt[]{7}

Igualando os dois lados da equação, teremos: a = 50 e b = 19
A soma da 69.
Espero ter ajudado, bons estudos.

PITTSBURGH (AP) Improved coverage in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ secondary has allowed the defense an opportunity to make team history.

The Steelers have 50 sacks 49ers Tarvarius Moore Jersey , which is five from the franchise record entering Sunday’s regular-season finale against Cleveland.

”If you can get them to hold the ball a little bit and make them second-guess themselves by changing up the coverages and blitzes, then that really helps us,” defensive coordinator Keith Butler said.

Article continues below ...
The Steelers have four defenders with at least five sacks each this season. The list includes Cam Heyward, Vince Williams, Bud Dupree and T.J. Watt.

That production has helped the Steelers rank second in sacks, fourth in yards allowed and fifth in points even without much from linebacker James Harrison, who is in New England after getting cut last week.

Harrison Authentic Matt Adams Jersey , a five-time Pro Bowl linebacker and 2008 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, was active for just five of Pittsburgh’s 14 games and played only 40 snaps despite being injury-free. The 39-year-old Harrison is the franchise’s leader in sacks, piling up 80+ during his 14 seasons with the Steelers and 82+ in his career.

The Steelers have continued Harrison’s legacy and have a chance to break the franchise mark for sacks in a season on Sunday.

”We’re ready to just go out and do it,” Dupree said. ”We want to be able to say we’re the group that broke the franchise record. We want to take a picture after the game and say that we’re the best to ever do it. It’s a lot of fun when you can do something like that.”

Heyward leads the way, as his team-best 12 sacks are tied for fifth in the NFL and tied for second-most by a Steeler defensive lineman in a single season since 1982.

”That’s unusual for a defensive tackle to have 12 sacks,” Butler said. ”How he’s passed up for the Pro Bowl, I don’t know.”

Watt Cheap DaeSean Hamilton Jersey , the younger brother of three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, J.J. Watt, ranks second among rookies with six sacks this season. He became the first player in league history to record at least two sacks and an interception during his NFL debut against the Browns in Week 1.

Cornerback Mike Hilton got into the action last week against Houston with a single-game career-high three sacks. Dupree is also enjoying a career season with a personal-best six sacks.

”The defense we run, we drop back a lot, but having the chance to rush the passer is fun,” Dupree said.

The secondary has helped the Steelers reach this point.

Pittsburgh is ranked No. 5 against the pass, two seasons removed from finishing 30th in passing defense. Cornerback Artie Burns and safety Sean Davis – the Steelers’ first and second-round picks in 2016 – join veteran Mike Mitchell. The Steelers solidified their back end when they signed former Browns standout cornerback Joe Haden Authentic B.J. Upton Jersey , a two-time Pro Bowler, before the start of the regular season.

”I’m just happy we got him,” Butler said. ”He came available for us and man, what a stroke of fortune that we got him.”

Pittsburgh ranked among the top three teams in the league in sacks the previous three times it advanced to the Super Bowl.

The Steelers, second in the league with 50 sacks, have ranked in the top 10 in the league the past three seasons. The Steelers had just 33 sacks – 26th in the league in 2014.

Butler said the team has brought multiple pass rushers – and different blitzers – more often this season.

”You don’t know which four (players) are coming,” Butler said. ”All those guys are talented enough to rush the quarterback and we’re fortunate enough that they do a good job for us.”

It hasn’t been one particular player or position group that does the most damage either.

”Everybody has been part of it http://www.carolinapanthersteamonline.com/ian-thomas-jersey ,” Butler said. ”It has been spread around and that’s what we want. We don’t want to be predictable in terms of how we’re trying to put pressure on the quarterback. We want to make them figure it out when it’s too late.”

NOTES: Center Maurkice Pouncey (hip) and WR Antonio Brown (calf) missed practice on Thursday. Heyward, QB Ben Roethlisberger and RB Le’Veon Bell were limited, but it wasn’t injury related.

EDEN PRAIRIE Connor Williams Jersey Elite , Minn. — In most cases, the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings would take a strong look at their Week 1 matchup as they prepare for Sunday’s NFC playoff game.

In this case, what happened in that Sept. 11 opener is indicative of the teams meeting in Minnesota for the second time this year.

Both teams underwent significant changes since the Vikings’ 29-19 victory.

Article continues below ...
Minnesota quarterback Sam Bradford completed 27-of-32 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns in the first meeting, earning NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. Bradford played only a single half the rest of the season as Case Keenum replaced the injured Bradford and put himself in MVP consideration.

New Orleans jettisoned former Vikings running back Adrian Peterson after a miserable four-game run and thrived with Mark Ingram and rookie Alvin Kamara, becoming one of the league’s most dangerous running back duos. The Saints’ defense also started to find its way.

“They’re a different team than they were Week 1, but so are we,” said Minnesota tight end Kyle Rudolph, who scored a touchdown in the first game. “Everyone in the NFL is trying to find their identity early on. They’re different from a personnel standpoint and they’re also different from a team, like us Authentic Arden Key Jersey , who has found their identity.”

The teams found their identity but had plenty of personnel changes along the way. The Vikings’ defense is healthy, but Keenum has taken hold of the starting quarterback spot and rookie running back Dalvin Cook, who ran for 127 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting, has been out since Week 4 because of a torn ACL.

“There are some similarities in regards to scheme, but I think when you go through a course of an NFL season and you look at the attrition that takes place, there are eight or nine of our starters that are playing in that game that aren’t playing in this game, and I’m sure the same exists for Minnesota,” New Orleans coach Sean Payton told reporters this week, according to the team’s website. “And you begin to take shape as the season progresses to who you become and I think both teams have done that.”

In the Saints’ case Danny Shelton Jersey Elite , they altered their offensive identity to rely on Ingram and Kamara. New Orleans ranked fifth in the league in rushing this season as Ingram ran for a career-high 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns. Kamara led the league with 6.1 yards per carry as the Saints had an NFC-best 4.7 yards per carry as a team.

Peterson had six carries for 18 yards in the first meeting in Minnesota. With the carries being split three ways, Ingram had six carries and Kamara touched the ball 11 times on offense.

“They got a little bit of everything,” Vikings defensive end Brian Robison said. “Ingram’s more of a downhill runner. Kamara is definitely a guy that can bounce to the outside. He’s got speed to hit the edge and they’re both really good in the screen game.”

The Vikings were second in the league in run defense, allowing 83.6 yards per game. They’ve held two of their past three opponents to fewer than 46 yards.

Selling out to stop the run isn’t a solid strategy either. In last week’s win against Carolina, the Saints ran 22 times for 41 yards as the Panthers dared New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees to beat them.

Brees had 376 passing yards and two touchdowns, and receivers Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn each had more than 100 yards receiving against the Panthers.

“We’ve been telling y’all all year, man, don’t sleep on Drew Barkevious Mingo Super Bowl LI Jersey ,” Ingram told the New Orleans Times Picayune. “And if you’re going to stack the box and try and stop the run and take us out the game, he’s going to hurt you. We’ve been telling you he’s the best quarterback in the league and he’s still Drew Brees. He proved that (Sunday).”

Perhaps the biggest change for the Saints has been the development of the defense. After allowing 470 total yards to Minnesota in Week 1, New Orleans gave up 555 to New England the following week. Slowly, communication improved on the back end combined with the play of rookie Marcus Lattimore and Ken Crawley at cornerback.

The Saints were third in the NFL and first in the NFC with 20 interceptions in the regular season. Lattimore led the team with five.

“He’s a good player,” Vikings Pro Bowl receiver Adam Thielen said of Lattimore. “He’s physical. He can run with anybody. He’s playing with a lot of confidence right now. He’s got great ball skills. He’s pretty much got everything you need to be a really good corner in this league.”

New Orleans also pressures the passer. Cameron Jordan tied Minnesota’s Everson Griffen for fourth in the league with 13 sacks. As a team, the Saints’ 42 sacks were tied for seventh in the NFL.

Like Brees, Keenum didn’t make mistakes once replacing Bradford. He threw seven interceptions, one fewer than Brees, and the Vikings allowed the seventh-fewest sacks in the league behind a patchwork offensive line.
“He is playing well Logan Cooke Jersey Elite ,” Payton told the team’s website of Keenum. “You can see him getting the ball to a lot of different guys. These guys, I think, have done a great job on offense. I think they are playing a game really that suits both sides of the ball.”

Minnesota should head into Sunday healthy, including the return of rookie center Pat Elflein from a shoulder injury.

New Orleans is battered. Left guard Andrus Peat and defensive tackle Tony McDaniel were placed on injured reserve this week. Receiv. Authentic Womens Sylvester Williams Jersey , Authentic Womens Isaiah Oliver Jersey , Authentic Womens Roquan Smith Jersey , Authentic Womens Josh Rosen Jersey ,

ORCHARD PARK Ed Dickson Jersey Elite , N.Y. (AP) Rather than risk another meltdown with the Bills still in the midst of the playoff race, coach Sean McDermott had little choice but to reverse course at quarterback.

Tyrod Taylor will start on Sunday when Buffalo (5-5) travels to play the Kansas City Chiefs (6-4).

And Nathan Peterman has been sent back to the sideline after the rookie threw five interceptions in the first half of a 54-24 loss at the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend.

Article continues below ...
”It’s the right thing for our team,” McDermott said, in switching quarterbacks for the second consecutive Wednesday.

The first-year coach, however, was in no mood to revisit the reasoning behind starting Peterman in a move that ultimately backfired.

”Really, when you focus on that Authentic Natrell Jamerson Jersey , when you look in the rearview mirror too long in this league, you lose sight of what’s in front,” McDermott said. ”We’ve got to focus on the Chiefs, and that’s for myself as well as our team.”

In making his first career start, the fifth-round pick out of Pittsburgh became the first quarterback to throw five interceptions in the first half since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. Peterman finished 6 of 14 for 66 yards and was replaced by Taylor to start the third quarter with Buffalo trailing 40-7.

Whatever confidence McDermott lost in Taylor a week earlier will have to quickly be restored to spark an offense that’s sputtered no matter who’s played quarterback during a three-game skid.

”Just do his job,” he said. ”I expect him to prepare like he’s always prepared and come out and lead this football team.”

McDermott faced heavy criticism for making what he called ”a calculated risk” in benching Taylor at a time the Bills held the AFC’s sixth and final playoff spot. The team is also in the midst of a 17-season playoff drought, the longest active streak in North America’s four major professional sports.

Taylor summed up the past week as ”an interesting set of days Robert Golden Super Bowl LI Jersey ,” while saying he’s not lost any confidence in himself.

”You’ve got to be prepared for anything, and focus-wise, you can’t let things break your focus,” he said. ”Whether it was last week or this week, I’m going to continue to prepare to do whatever it takes to get this team a win on Sunday.”

And yet there could potentially be a chill in his views toward McDermott.

When asked about the status of his relationship with the coach and offensive coordinator Rick Dennison, Taylor only mentioned Dennison by saying: ”Me and Rico are still good friends.” He added the two continue to talk and are working on fixing the troubles on offense.

When asked a follow-up question about McDermott, Taylor said: ”The relationship is still there.” He then added: ”Ultimately Harrison Phillips Jersey Elite , we’re here to win games. That’s really what cures a lot of things. We’re both working hard to do whatever it takes to find a win.”

Taylor’s demotion came on the heels of two duds.

In a 34-21 loss at the New York Jets on Nov. 2, Buffalo was trailing 34-7 before Taylor oversaw touchdown drives on the Bills final two possessions. He followed that up by going 9 of 18 for 56 yards and an interception through 55 minutes of a 47-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Buffalo’s defense hasn’t been much better in having allowed 135 points and a whopping 638 yards rushing the past three games.

Whatever Taylor’s inconsistencies have been in going 20-18 over 2+ seasons in Buffalo, he’s at least been efficient in protecting the ball. This season, he’s had 11 touchdowns passing and scored another three rushing, versus three interceptions and two lost fumbles.

Running back LeSean McCoy welcomed the switch back to Taylor, saying the offense has more ”trust” in the seventh-year player.

”I’ve just seen Tyrod in bad games he’s played or bad situations where he’s answered, and you could count on him Christian Kirk Jersey Elite ,” McCoy said. ”Turning the ball over last game was bad for us. You can’t win like that.”

Taylor’s demotion re-emphasized questions about the quarterback’s future beyond this season. The Bills were already negotiating to sign Brian Hoyer in free agency in March before re-signing Taylor – and only after he restructured his contract from a five-year to a two-year deal.

”I haven’t really thought about that to be really honest,” Taylor said, referring to his future. ”All I can control is what I do week to week.”

LOS ANGELES (AP) Former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin Wholesale Korey Toomer Jersey , spurred the shutdown of his former Los Angeles-area high school and was questioned by police after a menacing Instagram post appeared on his account.

The post from Martin, who has struggled with mental health issues after a 2013 bullying scandal that shook the NFL, showed a shotgun and referred by name to the private Harvard-Westlake prep school in Los Angeles that he once attended. It also mentioned the Instagram names of two former Dolphins teammates who harassed him, Richie Incognito and Mike Pouncey. The post said suicide and revenge were the only options for a victim of bullying.

School officials at Harvard-Westlake sent an emergency alert to students and staff early Friday evacuating campus and canceling school.

Several media outlets, however, including the Los Angeles Times and KABC-TV, were told by law enforcement sources that the person questioned was Martin.

Martin left the Miami Dolphins midseason in 2013 after accusing teammates of bullying. An NFL investigation found that Incognito Wholesale Jeremiah Attaochu Jersey , Pouncey and teammate John Jerry engaged in persistent harassment directed at Martin.

Incognito was suspended for the final eight games and sat out the 2014 season before joining the Buffalo Bills.

The NFL’s investigation also found that teammates threatened to rape Martin’s sister, called him a long list of slurs and bullied him for not being ”black enough.” Martin is black and Incognito is white.

Martin, who underwent counseling for emotional issues after the bullying scandal, posted on Facebook in 2015 that difficulties in football led him to attempt suicide multiple times.

DENVER (AP) You think the Denver Broncos have it bad? Here’s how low things have gotten for their former head coach in Chicago: even when John Fox wins Wholesale Clive Walford Jersey , he loses.

Fox fell to 12-29 in Chicago with a 23-16 loss to the Packers on Sunday that will best be remembered for his successful challenge that cost the Bears dearly.

Bennie Cunningham caught Mitchell Trubisky’s screen pass and cut outside before lunging for the right pylon in the second quarter. Cunningham was ruled out of bounds at the 2 and the Bears challenged the call, sure it would be ruled a touchdown on review.

Article continues below ...
”Every indication that we had was that he scored, and if anything he would be at the 1 or inside the 1 instead of I think they spotted the ball originally at the 3,” Fox said.

Instead, the replay showed the ball coming out of Cunningham’s hands before it hit the pylon and while he was still in bounds, and the fumble into the end zone resulted in a touchback for Green Bay.

”Obviously, that’s a play you’d like to have back,” Fox said. ”But that’s now how this game works.”

Here’s how replay reviews do work: throw the flag and everything is fair game.

The NFL’s rulebook states: ”All reviewable aspects of the play may be examined and are subject to reversal, even if not identified in a coach’s challenge or if not the specific reason for a Replay Official’s request for review.”

Cunningham agreed with the call after watching the replay.

”Coaches go over it every week. Unless it’s fourth down Wholesale Cordy Glenn Jersey , you don’t reach the ball out at the goal line, in the red zone,” Cunningham said. ”They talk about it. I go down at the 1, next play it’s first-and-goal and we hand the ball to Jordan (Howard). It’s a touchdown. So it was a bad decision.”

But the right call.

Week 10 was filled with notable calls, and one of the biggest was Bill Belichick reaching out for Martellus Bennett after the Packers jettisoned the tight end who had opted for surgery on his injured shoulder.

COME BACK: Belichick offered to bring Bennett back to New England, where he won a Super Bowl ring last year. Bennett said he told Belichick he needed to think about it ”because I don’t even know if I went through the seven stages of grief yet.”

Bennett called back a few minutes later to accept Belichick’s offer and was active for New England’s 41-16 shellacking of the Broncos on Sunday night, contributing three catches for 38 yards.

”It’s good to have him back and good to have him contribute,” Belichick said.

”He did a great job coming in on a Friday,” Tom Brady said. ”I love having Martellus on our team. He adds a lot and he is a great player. He was for us last year Wholesale Adrian Clayborn Jersey , and hopefully we keep building on it. ”

BRONCOS BOMB: Before the Patriots handed the Broncos their fifth consecutive double-digit loss , Mike Tirico sat down with Denver general manager John Elway, who told him, ”I still have dreams of playing, believe it or not, after 19 years. It’s much tougher sitting up in the box watching it than it is down there playing.”

Back in the studio, NBC analyst Tony Dungy had the line of the day when he cracked, ”You know why he wants to play? He’s got a Super Bowl-caliber team and he’s the best quarterback in the building.”

Maybe so, but for now Brock Osweiler will remain the starter after falling to 0-2 in place of Trevor Siemian Wholesale Isaiah Oliver Jersey , but if this slide continues, Paxton Lynch might finally get the chance to show if he’s a late bloomer or a bust.

For now it looks like Elway will go into his third consecutive offseason not knowing who his QB is.

REPUTATION FLAGS: Bengals oft-penalized linebacker Vontaze Burfict will suit up in Denver next weekend after the NFL said he won’t be suspended for contact with an official that got him ejected from Cincinnati’s 24-20 loss at Tennessee.

After Marcus Mariota was knocked out of bounds just shy of the goal line, Tennessee tackle Jack Conklin pushed Burfict and down judge Jeff Bergman put his left arm across Burfict’s midsection to keep the players apart. As he returned to the field, Burfict lightly moved Bergman’s arm away as though it were a subway turnstile.

Two plays earlier, Burfict drew an unnecessary roughness penalty for hitting – actually, grazing – DeMarco Murray out of bounds.

Burfict’s former teammate, nose tackle Domata Peko, who’s now in Denver, said neither flag should have been thrown on his old buddy Wholesale Kyzir White Jersey , but noted ”he’s under the microscope because of his history of all these penalties.”

”But I love Burf. I love how he plays. He plays hard. He plays with a lot of emotion,” Peko said. ”I saw that, he barely touched the ref. He just moved his arm. He could have chopped his arm down. He could have done something worse. But being under the microscope, you can’t be doing that stuff.”

suspension when you’ve truly got

NEW YORK (AP) The NFL expects a five-year contract extension with Commissioner Roger Goodell to be finalized soon Wholesale Bradley Chubb Jersey , despite a threatened lawsuit by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart said Thursday that ”our expectation is this will be wrapped up soon, but we can’t project an actual date.”

The extension would carry through 2024. Goodell became commissioner in 2006.

Article continues below ...
Lockhart added that the league is aware of Jones’ potential lawsuit, which apparently has been sparked by star running back Ezekiel Elliott’s six-game suspension over alleged domestic violence.

”Certainly neither the compensation committee or the league has been made aware of a lawsuit being filed,” he said.

As for reports that Jones and other owners might be balking at the structure and compensation in the new contract Wholesale Thomas Rawls Jersey , Lockhart noted: ”I am saying the reporting about potential holdouts around particular issues has not been accurate. I don’t know where it is coming from?”

All 32 owners voted in May to extend Goodell’s contract and authorized the compensation committee to work out the details. Goodell suspended Elliott in August after a yearlong NFL investigation. Prosecutors in Ohio declined to pursue the domestic violence case.

A federal court on Thursday upheld the suspension, barring Elliott from playing Sunday against Atlanta.

Jones, who is not on the compensation committee but is one of the most powerful owners in the league, has expressed frustration over the NFL’s pursuit of criminal matters with its own investigators.

Regardless Wholesale Kentavius Street Jersey , that committee has continued to structure and negotiate contract details with Goodell.

”We feel strongly that the 32-0 vote … gives them the authority to enter into a contract extension,” Lockhart said, ”and the committee is moving forward under the assumption they do have that authority.”

Prosecutors in Elliott’s case cited conflicting evidence when deciding not to pursue the case. The NFL’s probe continued for a year after that decision. Jones said his running back has been treated unfairly, and Elliott has denied the allegations of his ex-girlfriend under oath.

”I am very troubled by the swings that we’ve had Wholesale Will Hernandez Jersey ,” Jones said on his radio program on Oct. 31. ”His swing of judgment has been unbelievable from the Ray Rice thing all the way up to one or two games, all the way to the six-game suspension when you’ve truly got a debate. In our legal system it has to be stronger than that for somebody who has done it.”

Goodell’s decision to suspend Elliott prompted weeks of twists and turns in courtrooms from Texas to Louisiana to New York leading to a three-judge panel in New York making its decision Thursday. Elliott, on his third legal reprieve, has played all eight games for the Cowboys.

FLACHAU Taven Bryan Jersey Elite , Austria (AP) Olympic slalom champion Mikaela Shiffrin used a frenetic final run to stretch her winning streak in 2018 to five races at a women’s World Cup night race on Tuesday.

Shiffrin became the first female skier to start a calendar year with five straight wins, eclipsing the previous best mark by Swiss standout Vreni Schneider in 1989.

For the first time this season, Shiffrin was not leading after the opening part of a slalom. After a run in which the American struggled for rhythm throughout, she trailed first-run leader Bernadette Schild of Austria by 0.37 seconds.

Article continues below ...
But on a course set by her coach Mike Day, the defending overall champion was back to her best and posted the fastest second-run time to beat the Austrian by 0.94.

Frida Hansdotter of Sweden was 1.43 behind in third.

”My timing, my feeling, my rhythm was so much better than in the first run,” Shiffrin told The Associated Press. ”Actually Wholesale Rashaad Penny Jersey , the biggest change was just my mindset. It was a nerves’ thing. If I am a little nervous or anxious, my timing is off, then it can make everything look really terrible.”

Less than five weeks before the Olympic slalom in Pyeongchang, the American called her recovery in the final run ”a really big step for me.”

”This was the first time that I was coming from behind in the first run and I had to make a statement,” she said. ”That was really important for me, a really big checkmark on the way to the Olympics because when we are there, anything can happen, and I want to be mentally prepared for all those possibilities.”

Schild lost her first-run lead but still celebrated with both arms up after crossing the finish line.

The Austrian was on a World Cup podium five times before Michael Dickson Super Bowl LI Jersey , most recently in Killington in November, but has yet to win a race.

”I grew up in Saalfelden, nor far from here. So this is really a home race for me. It was amazing for me,” Schild said. ”I didn’t feel pressure, the audience gave me energy.”

The previous time she led a slalom after the opening run, in 2013 in Courchevel, she lost her advantage to her older sister Marlies Raich. Now retired, Raich holds the record for most slalom wins (35) on the women’s circuit. Shiffrin’s win on Tuesday was the American’s 30th in the discipline.

The Austrian women’s team has been waiting for a slalom win since Nicole Hosp triumphed in Aspen in 2014.

Shiffrin celebrated her 41st career win Anthony Miller Super Bowl LI Jersey , matching the record for most World Cup wins by a 22-year-old skier, set by Annemarie Moser-Proell in the 1970s.

”She is such an amazing name, legend in ski racing,” Shiffrin said about the Austrian great. ”A lot of people say you can’t really compare (the eras) and I agree with them. It’s incredible, nevertheless. I wasn’t thinking about the 41st victory, I was just thinking, you know, ski this one like this is going to be that last one you’ll ever ski.”

It also was the 200th win for the U.S. ski team in the 50-year history of the women’s World Cup. Only Austria (372) and Switzerland (301) have won more races. Shiffrin and four-time overall champion Lindsey Vonn together have added 119 wins to the American total.

Shiffrin went further ahead in both the overall and the slalom standings as her main rivals Donte Jackson Jersey Elite , Slovakia’s Petra Vlhova and Switzerland’s Wendy Holdener, failed to finish their first runs.

After 19 of the season’s 38 races, Shiffrin has amassed 1,381 World Cup points. Four years ago, that amount would have been enough for the overall title as Anna Veith won it with a total of 1,371.

After seven races in 13 days, Shiffrin will skip the next World Cup – speed events in Bad Kleinkirchheim this weekend – to rest and have more time for training.

EAST RUTHERFORD Wholesale Troy Apke Jersey , N.J. (AP) The Kansas City Chiefs were once an undefeated powerhouse, a solid squad that many thought would challenge for supremacy in the AFC.

That seems like a long time ago.

Andy Reid’s squad is 6-6 now after losing a tough one to the New York Jets on Sunday, 38-31. It was the Chiefs’ sixth loss in seven games, and did little to calm the nerves of panicked fans who think their team is in the middle of an ugly collapse.

Article continues below ...
”You just continue to fight and try to win a game,” quarterback Alex Smith said. ”We’ve been in some close ones a bunch here lately and have come out on the wrong side. Keep fighting and try to find a way. We know we have a couple of big division games coming up, so you have to assess this and get ready.”

Or else.

The Chiefs still control their future because they are tied for first in the AFC West with Oakland and the Los Angeles Chargers, each of whom won Sunday to improve to 6-6.

Kansas City is home against the Raiders and Chargers the next two weeks Jason McCourty Jersey Elite , when the Chiefs will know a lot more about themselves – and this season.

”You look back and correct the mistakes that we made and pick the urgency level up and go get ourselves better,” Reid said. ”I’ve been around this thing long enough to know that things happen and it’s not going to get changed around unless everybody’s doing better, and that’s what we’ve got to do.”

First on the list might be better discipline; the Chiefs’ lack thereof with the game on the line cost them against the Jets.

Chandler Catanzaro kicked a 21-yard field goal to put the Jets (5-7) ahead 33-31 with 3:55 left. But Kansas City’s Bennie Logan was called for a personal foul for hitting long snapper Thomas Hennessy in the head on the play, prolonging the drive.

After two running plays, Josh McCown threw incomplete, but Steven Nelson was penalized for defensive holding. Three plays later, McCown kept the ball and shoved his way into the end zone .

McCown’s pass on the 2-point conversion fell incomplete Brandon Parker Super Bowl LI Jersey , but Nelson was then called for holding. An enraged Marcus Peters picked up the penalty flag and tossed it into the stands , drawing an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Elijah McGuire ran it in moments later to convert the 2-point play and make it 38-31.

”Probably a little frustration there,” Reid said. ”I’m not saying that they shouldn’t have been called. I’ve got to look at the tape on that. ”

Here are some other things to know from the Chiefs-Jets slugfest at MetLife Stadium:

The Jets entered having lost five of their last six, with their playoff hopes fading fast. They matched their win total from last season with an impressive victory – and still have the postseason in their sights.

”I don’t know any other way to say it, but, yes, we all believe that Dorian O'Daniel Jersey Elite ,” McCown said. ”That’s the mindset that we have. Like I said from Day 1, the chemistry is special in that group, and I think there is a lot of belief and trust in one another and we believe we can do it.”

Smith has taken a lot of the heat for the Chiefs’ struggles, but the veteran was solid in this one.

Smith was 19 of 33 for 366 and four touchdowns – two each to Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce – and even had a 70-yard run , the longest by an NFL quarterback this season. He also became the first QB since the 1970 merger to have a 70-yard run and a pass of 70 or more yards (79 to Hill) in the same game.

”Alex played his tail off and is one of the best competitors in the NFL,” Kelce said. ”I’m sick of hearing Alex Smith is the reason we aren’t winning. We went out and battled.”

Darrelle Revis made his debut for the Chiefs after signing last week, but only played the first half.

The former Jets star started for Kansas City and had five total tackles before watching the final two quarters from the sideline.

”He was up to 39 snaps and that’s plenty for him Martinas Rankin Super Bowl LI Jersey ,” Reid said. ”He’s just getting back into the game. It’s hard to say on that, but I appreciate him out there competing and that’s what he did.”

Bowles benched both linebacker Darron Lee and Muhammad Wilkerson for disciplinary reasons. Lee was inactive after being late for a practice during the week, while Wilkerson sat most of the first half for being late to a team meeting.

Wilkerson has taken on a bigger role as a team leader, but this marked the third time in his career that he has been punished for tardiness. He finished with a team-leading six tackles and a half-sack.

Kansas City’s Harrison Butker was wide right on a 38-yard attempt in the second quarter, ending his franchise record of 23 straight field goals made. … New York wide receiver Robby Anderson had his streak of five straight games with a TD catch end, but he finished with eight receptions for 107 yards.

ENGLEWOOD Rick Leonard Super Bowl LI Jersey , Colo. (AP) Vance Joseph just may get doused on the sideline should the Denver Broncos finally win again Sunday.

It would be out of relief, with the team mired in an eight-game slide – the longest the franchise has endured in 50 years.

”Going to feel like a playoff win,” running back C.J. Anderson said of what a victory would feel like. ”So we might just dump the Gatorade on V.J. We ain’t won in two months. … We all are sick and tired of losing.”

Article continues below ...
The Broncos (3-9) head into their game against the New York Jets (5-7) in an unusual position – underdogs at home by 1+ points. That’s how far the Super Bowl champions from two years ago have tumbled.

The Broncos’ QB carousel has rotated through Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch and back to Siemian, who gets his second straight start.

”We’re playing like we’re at the bottom of the NFL and we have way too much talent on the team to be playing like that,” linebacker Shaquil Barrett said. ”We just have to figure it out and get it together.”

Many prognosticators predicted doom and gloom for the Jets this season. But here they are on the fringe of the playoff race behind the play of quarterback Josh McCown, who’s having the best season of his 15-year NFL career.

The 38-year-old was recently selected the offensive player of the week after he threw for 331 yards and a touchdown Wholesale Trent Murphy Jersey , and ran for two scores in New York’s 38-31 win over Kansas City. He joined Brett Favre and Ryan Fitzpatrick as the only quarterbacks to win the award with three teams in the past 15 years.

Even more, McCown became just the third player in NFL history to score on two runs in a single game at the age of 38 or older, joining Doug Flutie (41, 2003) and Jim Thorpe (38, 1926).

That’s some prestigious company.

”I’m just like, whatever works,” McCown said. ”Whatever gets us in the end zone. That’s all that matters.”

With four games left, the Broncos are in job-saving mode. General manager John Elway recently said on a local radio station that he’s embarrassed by the current downfall. He added the coaching staff would finish out the season.

Jets coach Todd Bowles had some advice for his head coaching counterpart.

”Just keep your head down and work Wholesale Malik Jefferson Jersey , get the guys better and go from there,” Bowles said. ”That’s all we can do as coaches.”

Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse are the first pair of wide receivers in Jets history to each post consecutive games of 100 yards receiving since Don Maynard and George Sauer in 1967.

There have been only seven games in the NFL this season in which two wide receivers both had 100 yards receiving or more, and Anderson and Kearse are the only ones to accomplish it twice.

Anderson had his five-game touchdown streak stopped last Sunday against Kansas City, but the second-year receiver has seven this season.

Combined with Kearse, who has five TDs, they are tied for the third-most in the NFL by a receiving duo – behind only Houston’s DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller (16) and Pittsburgh’s Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster (15).

”We try to push each other, whether he’s trying to push me or I’m trying to push him,” Kearse said. ”We’re real competitive out there.”

Despite the victory against the Chiefs Adidas Will Butcher Jersey , the Jets had some serious flaws exposed in their defensive secondary. They gave up 474 yards, including 366 yards passing by Alex Smith.

The Kansas City quarterback threw four touchdown passes, two each to speedy wide receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce. Smith also had a 70-yard run.

”We had a lot of issues, but that was the first time we didn’t play well in a while,” Bowles said of his secondary. ”We’ll get back at it and get to work and try to fix that next week (against Denver).”

The Jets are second in the league in third down yards with 1,043, trailing only Philadelphia (1,229). What’s more Wholesale P.J. Hall Jersey , the Jets have converted at a 40.2 percent rate and have scored nine TDs on third down.

Anderson has rushed for 652 yards this season and has his eye on a 1,000-yard season. He needs to average 87 yards over the last four games to reach the plateau.

”Trying to go do that,” Anderson said. ”I need some things to run my way.”

He had 15 carries in a 35-9 loss at Miami last weekend, while Jamaal Charles and Devontae Booker combined for five.

Siemian has 13 interceptions this season, including three against the Dolphins.

”You want to make sure you don’t miss a play and that’s when bad things happen,” Siemian said. ”For me, I just go back to feeling the flow of the game and not trying to do too much.”

Seeding means nothing in the giant game of rock Deadrin Senat Jersey Elite , paper, scissors that is the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Top-seeded Tampa Bay lost all three meetings this season against eighth-seeded New Jersey, Toronto beat Boston three out of four times and records don’t matter when Pittsburgh and Philadelphia meet in another battle of Pennsylvania. The Penguins are the back-to-back defending Stanley Cup champions while the Lightning and Bruins are among the best teams in the NHL – and yet there isn’t one obvious team to beat.

”In the East, anybody can beat anybody,” said Devils defenseman Ben Lovejoy, who won it all with the Penguins in 2016. ”When we’re playing our best game, I think we can beat anybody, and I think that the opposite is true. We have to be dialed in no matter who we’re playing, and we’ve done a really good job of that against the best teams in the league this year.”

Article continues below ...
The Devils certainly match up better against the Lightning than they would have against the Bruins, who are in for a tough series against the Maple Leafs. Washington has had a lot of success in recent years against Columbus but has a big question of who to start in goal and the Capitals have not played the Blue Jackets and their additions at the trade deadline.

Before stubbing their toe in game 82 and failing to win the Atlantic, the Bruins looked like they had the potential to be a buzz saw with Tuukka Rask in goal and enough depth to withstand injuries all season. They still might be.

”You don’t want to downplay how good every other team is, but you want to be the team to beat Adidas Jeff Skinner Jersey ,” Boston defenseman Torey Krug said. ”We try to play like the team that we are and play to our strengths and make sure that other teams are changing the way that they play to play against us.”

That’s half the fun of the playoffs, where matchups matter more than anything than points earned during the regular season.

”There’s no sitting here saying, `Who’s the best matchup?”’ Lightning coach Jon Cooper said. ”You need health. You need luck. You need so many things to go your way to win in the playoffs.”

Goaltending doesn’t hurt, either. If Tampa Bay gets the kind of Vezina Trophy-caliber play out of Andrei Vasilevskiy that he delivered for much of the season, it could go on a deep run, though the same could be said for Pittsburgh with Matt Murray, Washington with Braden Holtby or Philipp Grubauer, Columbus with Sergei Bobrovsky or Toronto with Frederik Andersen.

The East’s top team for much of the year, Tampa Bay hopes Steven Stamkos is healthy after dealing with a nagging lower-body injury late in the season. Stamkos, 100-point scorer Nikita Kucherov and top defenseman Victor Hedman make the Lightning a scary opponent. The Devils aren’t scared. They have Hart Trophy candidate Taylor Hall, star rookie Nico Hischier and enough veteran playoff experience to not look out of place.

”We’ve been in a playoff spot all year long and we’ve earned the right to be here, so that’s what we understand as a group Authentic Logan Paulsen Jersey ,” said Devils center Brian Boyle, who went to the 2014 final with the Rangers and then the next year with the Lightning. ”We believe in what we have. The way we play, our foundations, systems, are what got us here.”

Plenty has changed since Boston beat Toronto in seven games in 2013.The Maple Leafs added Mike Babcock as coach, Andersen in goal and have young stars Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and William Nylander.

”It’s a very exciting team, a very dynamic team,” Maple Leafs deadline addition Tomas Plekanec said. ”A lot of young talent on this team.”

The Bruins can go punch-for-punch with the Maple Leafs and just about anyone in the league. Led by the top line of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak, they have handled injuries to Bergeron, Rick Nash Jeremiah Attaochu Jersey Elite , captain Zdeno Chara and others and just keep clicking.

”We feel we’ve got a pretty strong lineup and that’s been a constant all along even though we’ve missed guys,” coach Bruce Cassidy said. ”That’s just what it’s been this year. It’s just how we’re going to be. It’s become a bit of our fight song, so to speak, that, hey, we can do it and different guys in and out, guys are prepared to step in and play with whoever they’re asked to play with.”

Despite losing several key players last offseason, the Capitals won the Metropolitan Division for the third consecutive year. Their reward: a matchup against Bobrovsky, Artemi Panarin and the John Tortorella-coached Blue Jackets.

”We’ve always thought that they’ve been a pretty good team for the last few years, not just the last couple where they’ve had more success,” Holtby said. ”I think we’ve always had a good challenge against them. We play better against solid teams, teams that are coached well and it’s always fun to play against them. I think it’ll be a good series.”

At the very least Wholesale Marquez Valdes-Scantling Jersey , it probably won’t be a short series.

These two teams don’t like each other, which should make for some fireworks in the first round. Since they last met in 2012, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and the Penguins have won the Cup twice, but something about Philadelphia-Pittsburgh makes for good games.
”They’re really fun games to play,” Flyers MVP candidate Claude Giroux said. ”They’re not easy games to play, but it’s easy to get up and play s. ALAMEDA Authentic Sebastian Janikowski Jersey , Calif. (AP) When Oakland played Kansas City for the first time this season, NaVorro Bowman still didn’t know all his Raiders teammates’ names, much less a brand new playbook.

After stepping right into the full-time middle linebacker spot that week just three days after signing with the Raiders, Bowman has expanded his role each week and is making a big impact on the defense that has showed signs of improvement of late.

”He’s had a calming influence,” coach Jack Del Rio said. ”He loves to play. You feel him on game day. He’s very much in control. I think he’s been a calming influence for some of our younger players.”

Article continues below ...
That calming effect goes beyond some of the younger players on the defense and even to the coaches, who appreciate his preparation and film work during the week to be ready on Sundays for whatever an opposing offense has to deliver.

Bowman made four All-Pro teams during his tenure in San Francisco before he was cut by the 49ers in October. He almost immediately signed with the Raiders on Oct. 16 Wholesale Dalton Schultz Jersey , and played all but one defensive snap three days later in a 31-30 win over Kansas City that ended Oakland’s four-game losing streak.

With the Raiders (6-6) set to play the Chiefs (6-6) again on Sunday in Kansas City with first place in the AFC West on the line, Oakland is glad to have Bowman patrolling the center of the defense.

Since joining the Raiders, Bowman leads the team in tackles, ranks second in snaps played on defense, is tied for third in tackles for loss and has become a leader of the unit.

”That calming influence starts with me when you’re communicating through the head set and you’re able to get guys calmed down,” defensive play-caller John Pagano said. ”He’s very soft spoken Jason Sanders Jersey Elite , but a very hard-hitting type of guy. He tries to keep everyone calm out there to be able to focus and breathe and play the next play.”

While the Raiders won in Bowman’s debut thanks to a last-play TD pass from Derek Carr to Michael Crabtree, the defense still was spotty. Oakland allowed 30.3 points per game in the first four contests with Bowman on board, winning two of them, before firing coordinator Ken Norton Jr. after a lopsided defeat to New England in Mexico City.

The defense has improved the past two weeks under Pagano, although much of that success can be attributed to getting to face backup quarterbacks Paxton Lynch and Geno Smith in wins over Denver and the New York Giants.

But Oakland has also generated more pressure, caused more turnovers and allowed fewer big plays in those two wins that have put the Raiders into a three-way tie for first in the AFC West with the Chiefs and Chargers.

Bowman has been in the middle of the improvement Wholesale Taven Bryan Jersey , recording Oakland’s only interception of the season in the end zone in the win over the Broncos and then recovering a fumble last week after a Bruce Irvin strip sack against the Giants. No other Raiders player has more than one defensive takeaway all season.

”Anytime I see the ball, I have to go get it,” he said. ”I gave the ball to Bruce because if he didn’t do what he did, I wouldn’t have gotten it. That’s just what it has to become, a team effort, everybody understanding we need all of those guys at all times.”

Predators: Host San Jose on Thursday night.

Mensagempor elaine95 » Sex Jun 15, 2018 04:47

DETROIT (AP) Viktor Arvidsson is playing some of his best hockey of the season and helping the Nashville Predators get some big wins.

Arvidsson scored his third goal in two games and the Predators ended their seven-game losing skid against Detroit with a 3-2 victory over the Red Wings on Tuesday.

Scott Hartnell and Kyle Turris also scored Adidas Nikita Kucherov Jersey , and Juuse Saros stopped 34 shots for the Predators, who improved to 7-2-2 in their last nine games. Nashville also ended a three-game losing streak in Detroit since a win on Nov. 19, 2013.

Article continues below ...
Arvidsson, who scored twice in the Predators’ 5-2 win over Ottawa on Monday, now has eight goals and five assists in the last 14 games.

”The last two games Wholesale Terrell Edmunds Jersey , I think our line has been a lot better and we’re playing with a lot of confidence,” Nashville’s Ryan Johansen said. ”Arvie has been a huge factor in that, because he’s been making plays all over the ice lately.”

Arvidsson’s goal at 4:50 of the third period pushed the Predators’ lead to 3-1. The puck skipped over the stick of Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson, allowing Arvidsson to get in alone and snap a shot by Howard on the stick side.

Andreas Athanasiou and Tomas Tatar scored for the Red Wings, and Jimmy Howard finished with 26 saves.

The Predators grabbed the lead just 4:18 into the opening period. Roman Josi’s wrist shot from the point deflected off the right skate of Nashville forward Hartnell before settling into the net behind Howard.

It was 2-0 Predators at 9:35 of the first. Josi’s wrist shot squeezed through the legs of Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall and landed right in front of Nashville center Kyle Turris Chris Herndon Super Bowl LI Jersey , who tucked the puck past Howard. It was the first goal by Turris since Jan. 30, ending a nine-game drought.

”We got off to a good start, but the second period wasn’t good at all,” Arvidsson said. ”The third period was a lot better, but we still made too many bad decisions.”

The Red Wings got on the board at 10:12 of the second as Athanasiou slipped behind the Nashville defense Wholesale Durham Smythe Jersey , took a pass from Dylan Larkin and beat Saros with a stick-side deke move. It was Athanasiou’s first goal in 12 games.

”I think we needed something to kind of get the momentum going, so it was definitely good to help out,” Athanasiou said.

”It’s tough to spot a team like that two goals. You’ve got to fight and scratch and claw to get back. We did. We had a lot of chances as the game went. It’s tough to finally lose it.”

NOTES: The Red Wings recalled G Jared Coreau from AHL Grand Rapids to replace G Petr Mrazek, traded Monday to Philadelphia. … Red Wings D Mike Green missed his third straight game due to an upper-body injury. … The Predators are 5-1-1 in the second game of back to backs this season.

pessoal eu achei como resultado 180 toneladas, entretanto sei que a questão está erra pela lógica e a resposta correta segundo o gabarito é 1.800 toneladas.
me explique onde eu estou pecando na questão. resolva explicando.

Autor: Douglasm - Qui Jul 01, 2010 13:16

Observe o raciocínio:

10 pessoas - 9 dias - 135 toneladas

1 pessoa - 9 dias - 13,5 toneladas

1 pessoa - 1 dia - 1,5 toneladas

40 pessoas - 1 dia - 60 toneladas

40 pessoas - 30 dias - 1800 toneladas
